Monthly Tasting Group HWS: VDP Grosses Gewachs (By BS): The bouquet is a bit reticent with stony mineral impressions. On the palate ripe white fruits, tight and focused with a beautiful balance between acidity and sweetness. Full bodied and complex wine.

The palate is much straighter, with a trailing acidity. There is still the richness of Riesling in the form of tropical notes, but the wine is structured, complex with a rocky side, with a beautiful juice and flawless balance. The finish, on notes of wet stones, is intense, as is the vibrant length.
My first Keller, and it's excellent.

Drank vs Kirchspiel 14 Both on the same amazing level of joy. Vibrating tension in a big mineral bowl with tiny fruity aspects. Real good. Both needed air and blossomed after 2 h. Could not pick a winner. Bravo KPK

Wet stone, lots of citrus, and freshly chopped herbs like mint or basil on the nose. Palate vivacious, starting to lose its young, fruit-driven characteristics. Candied apple, salted lemon and a strong, yet elegant minerality. A beautiful wine.

Nose on the tropical fruit, it is very opulent
