Red berries, rosemary, forest floor, and cherries on the nose. Good acidity with medium tannins, more red berries, and orange flavors on the palate. Good finish.

less aromatically expressive than the Perraud, but there are some nice cherry and berry notes with just a touch of stem and floral lift. Very solid on the palate with grippy drying bark-like tannins and good fruit intensity. Quite firm, and probably just needs time to relax but still enjoyable

dark fruited - blackcurrant and Cabernet-like, quite some oak influence - old and wood oak combined, somewhat herbaceous/earthy; quite grippy drying tannins, good acid and mb, but quite Cabernet-like generally, lacks typicity. OK but not Beaujolais-like and $60 is painful

Quite reduced at the moment. Think it needs a few years to unwind and open, but good material there with density and purity.
