Chassagne-Montrachet Morgeot Tasting (The Moll House - Chicago IL): In contrast the the reticent Ramonet '13 Morgeot, this was flashy and so forthcoming once given 15-20 minutes of air. Rich tropical hints from subtle botrytis, this seems so forward and fun, yet plenty of structural support bolsters this wine form middle through long-ish finish. fourth time I've had this wine, and it just keeps getting better.

Blind. Very obviously white Burg. I was leaning towards Puligny as this has a richness and fatness to the palate. Well balanced by juicy acids. Terrific.

Minerality, lime stone, topical fruit, hints of vanilla. Lovely A-/A.

Ripe apple on nose and palate with some sweet spice hints. Good richness and density. Very good now, but also still very bright on finish.

Blind Tasting...Wines That Don't Suck (House of Nanda - Chicago IL): Served double blind to the tasting group. Ripe orchard fruit with slightly sweet spice. Good density for its level, even better length. Better now vs when last tasted a year ago.
