  Somewhat concerned by Halliday’s ranking I was concerned that I had bought a wine not up to the normal high standard of La Pleiade. It was certainly a well made wine with no vices but not the highs of prior years. I am comfortable that this wine will improve over time and I look forward to tasting them in the future. I worry that Chapoutier may have lost the plot in Australia as their other wines tasted recently were also a bit disappointing compared to previous vintages.
