  I pulled this for my husband to take to boys night as a backup bottle. Given the lackluster reviews I wasn’t particularly interested. But since they didn’t drink it we opened and I was pleasantly surprised. Only because I had low expectations. But this is a great daily drinker. Nice rb bordeaux. A bit short on the finish and a bit simple but tasty and drinkable.

  Red berries and vanilla in the bouquet. On the palate juicy fruits and acidity. Slightly sticky and a bit edgy tannin.

  Aired in bottle for 30 mins. At home.
  Appearance is clear, deep intensity, ruby colour. Legs.
  Nose medium intensity, with aromas of red cherries, red plums, sweet chocolate, mild oak spice. Youthful.
  On the palate, dry, medium+ acidity, medium alcohol (13.5%), soft medium+ tannins, medium+ body. Medium flavour intensity, with flavours of sickly sweet red fruits - cherries and plums, chocolate, sweet spice, dried herb. Medium finish with some grippiness.
  Acceptable quality. Polished and round which will appeal to the masses, but I feel assaulted much by the sickly sweet red fruits. Drink up young.
  Mainly Merlot, with some Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon.
