This was not a flawed wine per say, but it was flawed, IMHO, in terms of constitution. To me the wine was far to sweet without the ripping acid and backbone to make it a contender. The nose on this rose colored wine is lovely with ripping grapefruit, dragon fruit, dark cherry, litchi, and gooseberry. The mouth on this medium bodied wine is nice but lacks the acid and the balance to make it all come around. The mouth is viscous with peach, quince, apricot, candied watermelon, life saver candy and tropical fruit. The finish is long but again too fat with bitter nut notes and quinine.

Very nice. Watermelon, strawberries, with a nice acidity. Contrary to the back label, however, the wine is not "bone dry. " The front and could be classified as such, but there is a slight sweetness on the finish that would constitute my only criticism of the wine. I'd happily pay $20-$25 for it again. Unfortunately, they priced it at $40.
