BYO Centropa (Centropa, Deichmann, Oslo): Servert rett etter Dauvissat Les Clos 11. Gyllengul.

Light golden color. Lanolin, Meyer lemon, and a little popcorn on the nose. This has taken on some weight and drinks like a grand cru. There’s candle wax, Meyer lemon, honeydew and grilled pineapple draped around a noticeable but not obtrusive oak note. A waft of buttermilk on opening blew off quickly. The minerality was faded, and this was mostly a fruit driven affair. Ripe fruit, oak, and the slightest beginning of oxidation would have led me to a Mersault or Batard Montrachet. Delicious!

Pnp, golden in color, ripe nose of yellow fruits and a distinct floral aroma. On palate, light sweetness blends well with acidity that made the wine still refrwshing after 23 years. Still mineral and a sense of sea shell, and a lingering finish.

Dark straw yellow. Quite mute right after opening, but gained more and more aromas with time. Intense chalky minerals. Fat and meaty in the mouth for a Chablis, but still dry and intense. No signs of oxydation here. Long and intense finish.

Bottle shot. No fruit. Musty smell. Just sour acid.
