I don't get the low scores, this is a great wine for pizza night. 60% Syrah 40% Grenache. Fruity, good. Tart (but good), touch of stem and briny finish.

Standout red from a tasting we had the other night. Deep color (as one would expect) with the sweet fragrance of new oak combined with Syrah in the nose. The flavors are more Grenache, with the characteristic "saltiness" one finds in Grenache wines from this area. A relatively new producer in the Costiéres-de-Nimes and a fine value at $12/btl.

60/40 Grenache to syrah. 14%. Deep crimson color. Cherry and a little blueberry on the nose. Cherry/Blueberry/Plum on the palate. Light tannins. Long finish. Better on day 2. Doesn't have the viscosity I'd expect out of a 14%'er. A little thin to me. But for the price, this is a solid everyday rhone wine.
