  Slightly hazy, likely indicative of minimal filtering. Some settling of tannins, presence of tartrates.
  
  Medium+ intensity nose, aromas of macerated sour pie cherries, clove, faint vanilla, and just a slight hint of fruit development forest floor.
  
  On the palate, medium- body with medium- silky-textured tannins, and medium+ acidity. Flavors that mirror the nose in a more youthful tone of sour cherries, baking spice. Medium intensity flavors.
  
  Long finish of sour cherry with soft vanilla undertones.
  
  Drinking well now but this wine, still youthful, suggests it will have a lot more to show over time.
