  I bought this bottle on a lark ($9) since in the past I've a had a few great bargain finds come out of the former Eastern Bloc. This was another such example. Well-colored, reasonably dense, some evidence of glycerin streaking the glass as it swirls. Attractive nose, not proclaiming any particular varietal. In the mouth, it's fruity and well-balanced, but also reveals some wine-making finesse -- a deft acquaintance with barrel aging. Nice finish -- not tannic not sweet, just round and pleasant. I rushed back to the store and found just one more bottle. Darn it.
