There is some orangy fruitiness and even a certain vinosity in here, but also a soapiness and the desired flavors are too thinly spread. The Wild Turkey 101 is even cheaper, despite being over 10% higher in abv, and slightly superior in taste. I think it was somewhat of an own-goal for Buffalo Trace to have bottled this at 40% for the German market instead of the usual 45% abv.

Don't know if the 90 proof version is worth buying, but to me this here isn't.
