Gidday ya'll Colour...blood red hue surrounds a dark dense middle glass, looks great. Nose....probably the first thing i get is the tannins, followed closely by dark forest fruits, ...well balanced with a 'mellow' aspect to it. Little bit of spice from the cabernet maybe. Taste.....My goodness, lovely wine....very nice tannin puck, with massive fruit flavour, again those dark fruits come through with well ripe flavours offering loads to consider, complex. Mostly those dark fruits that were on the nose with some plums and floral side burns. Great finish with the earthy rustic components pecking out for a look and those tannins still hanging on. One for the cellar for sure....5 to 7 years maybe longer. Fantastic wine and super value when on special.
Stay thirsty ya'll.....
