Orange blossom on the nose. On the palate, orange blossom, peach, and notes of honey and herbs on the medium finish. The powerful peach and orange blossom notes combined with light sweetness reminded me of Viogner. The peppery notes that were here a few years ago have disappeared, and this seems to be fully integrated; it probably won't get better. Excellent value at a bit under $30.

Dry and aromatic, it both smells and tastes a bit like an orange tea. Not funky and not very complex either. Low alcohol and light phenolics makes it easy to drink, but also notably short on the finish. Refreshing, if somewhat shallow.

When opened, it was total funktown. When first sipped, it was mildly cidery. It did evolve nicely though, and became quite complex: fruity at one moment, herbal the next, then floral … a lovely wine with our mixture of grilled fish and lobster.

Half and half zibibbo/albanello, one week on the skins. The 2013 SP68 Bianco has notably improved since a year ago, especially regarding balance and integration of the slightly bitter phenolics. Drinking perfectly well on its own or with cheese, we prefer to savour it as a late evening treat.

Peach and spring flowers on the nose. On the palate, apricot, rosewater, pear juice, and notes of white pepper, honey, and savory herbs on the medium finish. Excellent value for the money at under $30.
