2014 Tzora Judean Hills, Blanc – Score: 91 The first of my two bottles were oxidized but this one is lovely! This wine is a blend of 86% Chardonnay and 14% Sauvignon Blanc. The nose has evolved in a very nice way from its early days, it still has the lovely smokey notes, with nice oaked notes, sweet white peach, green apple peel, all wrapped in creamy and buttery notes, lovely lemon, and lemongrass. The nose is lovely, but the mouth is what makes the wine insane, what a mouth! The wine has calmed from its acrid approach, now it is well-balanced acidity, with more lemon, lovely apricot, green apple with beautiful saline, green olives, lovely quinine, and roasted herb. The finish is long and mineral, and richly salty with lovely lime, chalk, flint, and earth. Bravo!!! Drink until 2022.

one of my favorites, blend of chardonnay and SB. the SB component definitely is felt, but this is a very crisp white with good complexity. I thought it wasn't quite as crisp as my last bottle about a year ago.

Always nice to come back to a favorite. Light straw color, brilliantly clear with medium viscosity. Nose dominant with pineapple, grapefruit, some apples and pears and a hint of almond in the back. Mouth was mostly grapefruit and starfruit, some pear and lime, perfect balance between the body of the Chard. and the refreshingly crisp acidity of the SB, medium finish. Perfect match for tonight's fish.

A delicious wine with crisp overtones of lemon, light grapefruit and some spice. Very enjoyable with swordfish tonite.

Tzora wines tasting (Tzora winery): Pale golden yellow
Perfumed fruity-floral nose, Chardonnay hints only.
Excellent balance, minerality, line, herbal, candied lemon, soft and seducing, simple structured, enjoyable finish.
