All backbone, not enough finesse. Solid for certain, with great structure, but not enough acid or fruit for my taste. It worked well as an opener to the evening, though, paired with salad and spinach puffs. Yes, there were actual spinach puffs.

This is the best white burgundy i have had below $30. this is a brilliant effort for a Bourgogne. chalky nose, with hints of light butterscotch. Well balance with good acity, making this a perfect causal food wine.

Far more crisp and precise than we recall from the prior bottles. Quite enjoyable over three nights.

To the description below, I would add, the wine has a very mellow and smooth aspect to it. We could've used a touch more acid, but it was very nice.
