These are a blend of producers from around Armagnac. Family don't own any vineyards or distill any spirit. Creme brulle on the nose, so rich with leather. V. gentleman's club Peppery, dry, pungent Some tannin, long

This armagnac tastes old and noble. I've tried the 20, 30, and 40 year old bottlings in the Grand Assemblages series. While older is not always better, I like the 40 more than the 30 and the 30 more than the 20. The keys are rancio and woodiness, both of which go up with age. I would love to try the 50 and 60 year old versions.
