  • Peak was supposed to be 2022 according to reviews, but this was still quite good after 1 hour decant. I'm extending drinking window to 2026.

  • Drank on 9/25/20 with friends. Needed about an hour decant or open bottle 2+ hours. Excellent.

Tried it in a wine tasting 6/2018: Our favorite of the tasting. Medicine nose. Soft, fruity dark berry. Very smooth.

Ended up buying another bottle when I found it at a different TW location.

WE 90 pts. "Impressively firm wine showing potential concentration of even a village-level Vosne-Romanee. It is packed with tannins and dark fruits, still rounding out the potential of its rich fruitness and structure. Wait to drink this wine until 2020."

    TW: elegant, spice, plum, medium-bodied.

vintner: Beautiful dark red colour with purple tints. The nose is very delicate, mineral with iodine feelings. On the palate the wine already enjoyable, full and dense with lovely intense dark fruits aromas. Tannins are dense and firm. Pairs with fresh goat cheese. Cellar 8-10 years.

  • Appearance: Bright and clear, the wine is of light ruby colour with fading rims and legs.
Nose: Clean, with medium (+) intensity aromas of red fruit of cherries and raspberry, black fruit of cassis and blackberry, floral notes of violet, pungent spice of white pepper, sweet spice of clove. The wine is youthful.
Palate: Dry with medium acidity, the wine has medium tannin of ripe and silky texture, medium alcohol, medium (-) body and medium intensity flavors of red fruit of cherries and raspberry, black fruit of cassis, pungent spice of white pepper, sweet spice of clove. The wine has a medium finish.
Conclusion: Good quality Vosne-Romanee with a fairly intense nose showing decent complexity of the varietal, the wine has good finesse, well-balanced and showing reasonable concentration on the palate, with also a nice length on the finish. It is ready to drink now but can maintain for another 4-6 years.
