Fresh and vibrant, pretty as always. Easy and very drinkable. This has a touch of limestone soil on the site which makes it taste much more like a northern white (meaning say, a Meursault). Which I could grand as a comparison.

E&R's 4th Annual Beaujolais Weekend; 11/22/2013-11/23/2013 (E&R Wine Shop, Portland OR): Nice and zippy aromas, which are clean and offer pleasant fruit. Some creamy texture on the palate with cantaloupe melon and a salty, acidic streak. The cantaloupe definitely takes over as you hold this long on the palate. Metallic minerals linger on the finish, which does take away, but not as much so as it did a year ago. I really love the fruit on the palate at this point.

Really nice chardonnay from Beaujolais. Crisp, lemony, acidic, minerally, very much like a very nice village level white Burgundy.
