Less acidity than I remember this having last summer. I would drink now. Lovely mix of fruit and stoniness on the palate. A really fun wine that compels you to take another sip.

Honeysuckle and a hint of vanilla on the nose. On the palate, pear, lychee, white pepper, and notes of honey and slightly bitter/peppery spice on the medium finish, with strong acidity. Excellent value for the money at under $17.

Grüner Goodness @ Weygandt Wines (Weygandt Wines - Washington, D.C.): Spicy aromatics, some richer, more honeyed notes than the Wogenrain. Lush, rich palate but still plenty clean and brisk. Apricots and pears dashed with white pepper, herbs and honey. Love the creaminess and depth to this wine, but lots of spice and herbal complexities.

Nice fruit upfront. Much better now than beginning of the year. T likes too. It's soft with little minerality. Nice weekday wine.
