Drinking incredibly well at this point and a few years more wouldn’t do any harm. The depth of the fruit is remarkable and the minerality provides a lovely finish. Wish I had more to consume over next five years.

Grüner Goodness @ Weygandt Wines (Weygandt Wines - Washington, D.C.): Rich and bold aromatics, much more forward than the 2014 Sandgrube, I get lots of slate and minerals along with the tropical fruit. Rich, exotic, plush, lots of tropical fruit but plenty of acid, minerals and smoky elements.
