Generally, sandy soils, pre-phyloxerra vines. Sulcus is the most ancient area of Sardinia. And Santadi is the town in the middle of Sulcis. 4 months sur lie. 15% Naragus. Lots of mineral to the palate.

Salinity on the nose like you are smelling the Med sea. Good acidity. A little slate and tropical fruit (I.e., rich fruit) on the palate. Very smooth. Not sweet or dry, has good body, lingers on the tongue. Very good wine. Paired *amazingly* with sweet corn agnolotti at Graffiato in DC.

Way too much New World ripeness, way too little Sardinian freshness and typicity. Very disappointing.
