Tasting at Marcarini (La Morra, Piedmont, Italy): Aged for 9 months with half in steel and the other half in oak casks. Nose has plums and spice, with concentrated fruit that really shines through. Palate is light-to-medium body with more plum notes. Very fresh and juicy. A transparent, honest wine.
