  • See through amber; classic botrytis nose, a bit richer and weightier than many European options, apricot marmalade, burnt orange, guava sounds right, toffee, buttery rich, viscous with sufficient cut, savory and syrupy sweet, a hedonistic delight; plenty more time on this; very good with Panettone.

  • Dinner at Mondavi hosted by winemaker Genevieve Janssens. Last wine of the evening, with dessert.

Rich gold/amber color. Mose was orange jam, poached pears, Palate was a viscous texture with marmelade, honey, tangerine, burnt sugar. Nicely sweet. Didnt pick up much in way of botrytis notes. Enjoyable, straightforward dessert wine.
