  Deep red colour. Bouquet was earthy and forest smells with some leather. Flavour started predominantly with plum and dark fruits. Almost slightly jammy to start but flavour changed as it breathed. After breathing, now get some chocolate and more earthy notes. Lots of different flavours. A very nice bottle. Could easily cellar for longer.

  This was an exceptional bottle - moderate level of tannins did not overpower the underlying flavor of the Super Tuscan blend. We actually used a small portion (6 oz) of the bottle to cook a mushroom, onion, olive oil and balsamic glaze for our beef tenderloin that was extraordinary. We let sit in the glass upon opening for about 15 minutes before trying it. An hour decant probably would have served better as we sensed further opening up as we got to the end of dinner. Would be delighted to get another bottle if the opportunity comes up.
