Cool-climate blue forest-berry fruit with impressive depth and peppery spiciness. Densely structured yet very fresh, with velvety texture and a peppery/spicy finish. Outstanding stuff with excellent drinkability (especially after 24h of air) and great potential as well. Not to be missed for friends of whole-cluster Northern Rhône Syrah.

Notes of blueberry and other assorted wild berries, as well as forest floor and some coniferous elements. The light palate adds some herbal spiciness and acidity. Light and silky tannins that do however pile up. Long fresh finish, tapering to slight bitterness. Charming, elegant, drinkable and very moreish.

100% Whole Cluster. 8-10 months in 500L used French oak. 70 year old vines, .45ha plot. fantastic aromas, and again a nod to a Burgundy profile. aromas suggest a denser fruit to the palate, although not as popping fruit on the nose as the Capelinos. Red berry fruit palate. light exotic pepper spice to the palate.
