Seems just a touch older than the Quinta, but unmistakably has the beginnings of oxidative aging working on it. Very yeasty and briny, with a touch of flor bitterness, and the oxidation light and well-controlled. Crisp and clean, maybe a touch too filtered and commercial but a very classic style and great food wine.

A bit richer and darker than a Fino, but with the same characteristics: salinity, dryness, with the addition of almonds, nuts and orange peel. I like it.

Fino Amontillado is per definition a Fino that has begun the transformation to Amontillado. It really looks like Fino with its pale yellow colour.Discreet mineral and nutty nose. The palate is light, crispy, mineral and dry like a Fino but has lovely hints of almonds and nuts as well that belongs more to Amontillado. It does not have the richness and longueur of a Amontillado, but it combines very well the both types.Great stuff.

Like a richer fino, this wine was aged 3-4 years. Straw in color. Rich almond aromas, and you can taste the cask more than in the Fino.
