Decanted for 2 hours. Vina Ardanza is always one of my favourite wines, but I’ve not had a mature vintage like this for a while. This is in a perfect spot right now. Just the right level of oak to balance the remaining fruit. Medium bodied and elegant.

A terrific and delicious bottle, though it didn’t scream Rioja or Tempranillo. Tannins resolved but will plenty of fruit.
