Very solid wine; orchard fruits, hazelnut, floral, some wood spice. The palate has nice freshness, good balance, good depth. Very well made new world Chardonnay, especially from the vintage as it is not overripe. Quite enjoyable and still with good cellar potential.

Fermented and aged in French oak (only 10% new), this light yellow Chardonnay strikes a nice balance between freshness and oak influence. Although it was taken through full malolactic fermentation, it retains a firm acidic backbone which supports its bright flavors. Citrus, stone fruits, melon and spice adorn both the nose and light-bodied palate. Listed as 13.5%, the alcohol throws no heat. Solid in the middle and closing with a mineral-laden, medium length finish, this is a quality offering that will have many fans. Enjoy it over the next 2-3 years. Drink now-2019.

Hazelnut on the notes. Savory across the palate as well. Not my style per-se, a touch over at $25 or so.

Lightly floral nose. Apples, pears, wax and honey. Well balanced. Oak is very subtle.
