  This beautiful wine is 85% Cab Sauv from Henry Ranch Block 8 and 15% Cab Franc from Detert East comes a really nice cab that is at the top of the drinking window right now. The nose is blackberries and truffle oil. The palate adds dirty red licorice and black cherries immediately up front, and a bit of dark baking chocolate and mushroom au jus to the finish with a hint of black pepper. Resolving tannin. This is actually a very balanced wine right now, and maybe developing a secondary layer here. If you're a fan of the young opulent, "Napacab" wines then this one is probably not going to be in your wheelhouse. If you like the combo between new opulence and old world funkiness, this is a solid choice. Drink now.
