Pronounced minerality in the form of wet gravel and a saltiness with flower blossom and herbal aromatics. Dry and firm, but very enjoyable even on its own, though its true calling is simply prepared shellfish.

Light gold color with slow legs and a bright shine. A little funk on the nose for the first several minutes after the pop, but then it opened up with melon and citrus purity of light-medium intensity. Weighty and viscous body with a lot of supporting acidity and salinity. I can imagine what a nicely-aged Verduzzo would be like, but I’m not sure this is the right candidate. I’ll give my other bottle another 2-3 years. 5+10+17+8= 90

I found this to have fine acidity and decent minerality, but it was less interesting than I'd hoped for. To be fair, I'm generally not big on Italian whites. In my limited experience, this was better than any other Verduzzos I've had previously, but probably not good enough to purchase again except perhaps by the glass in a restaurant setting. 88-89

Light gold color. Musty quince, grapefruit, lemon and lime aromas. Ripe and consistent flavors with nice body and lingering finish. After peak.

Major TCA. Did the plastic wrap-in-a-decanter trick and it helped a lot, but sad that the wine was still not up to snuff.
