  • This was very reductive with a lot of rubber on the nose. Past that lay unripe fruit, mostly apple. The oak is not integrated, and the wine finishes with green unripe tannin. I came back to it the second day because it's so young, but the reduction didn't blow off, nor did it open up any. The second half went down the drain.

I'm dumbfounded how this came out of the warmest growing season ever on record in the Willamette Valley.
