Agree w Cave D'argent. this is a very approachable and enjoyable spatburgunder that has the requisite spicy notes but is full and rich. lacks the structure of his highest end bottlings, but very enjoyable in youth

2015 Aspen Food & Wine Classic Trip; 6/17/2015-6/22/2015 (Aspen, Colorado): An understated style, this light-to-medium ruby wine offers a fresh mix of wild berry, citrus and spice on both the nose and palate. Light-bodied, lightly tannic and without any alcoholic heat, it stays solid in the middle and closes with a medium-length, tart finish. This is an enjoyable, albeit somewhat simple Pinot. It should be at its best over the next 2-3 years. Drink now-2018.
