(Nikolaihof Grüner Veltliner "Hefeabzug") ($39.00) In case you harbored any notion that this little leesy youngster wouldn’t age, here’s an eight-year old wine from a so-so vintage, and it’s all celeriac and parsley and wintergreen and green tea — I mean, you really won’t believe it. And it’s yummy! And they have some; not enough for sure, but more than a tiny amount. +

Another bottle, another hit. Fantastic texture, ripe pear, lemon rind. In great drinking spot right now.

Delicious. Leesy, filling mouth, with tea notes and herbal. Nice long finish. Elegant. Beautiful with swordfish roasted with baby turnips and greens.

Easy and not unlike older Jermann PG aka '98. Jellybean palate. Baking pear palate.

re-released, a brilliant wine. The nose and texture are stunning. However best 1st-2nd day, degraded a tiny bit even with air & gas.
