Solidly and suprisingly very good, expected it to be well past it's prime but it's not, a beautiful wine in the glass the color is perfect for a Malbec, the legs are longer than many Malbecs, not at all thin. The bouquet is solidly of fruit with a hint of oak.Starts out on the pallette a little chewey, with mild hints of cigar ash and oak then rounds to a nice dry taste that gently holds your tongue. Excellent with the bone in sirloin and mixed vegetables we have with it; too bad it's too cold and damp to have done the steak on the grill then it would have been perfect.

over-ripe rotten fruit smell. Decent structure on the palate, but really just simple and not sure if it's even worth the calories I'm putting into my system.
