Community Tasting Notes (2) Avg Score: 89 points

  • Shy but quite actracive nose; blueberries, oak, forest floor.
Explosive fruit on the palate; more red berries than black, obvious oak(not too dominating), christmas spices, good lifting acidity, and strongish tannins. Finishes a bit rough, and sligthly bitter(could see improving with time). Medium to long aftertaste. Could go over 90 pts after few years. Still feels young and a bit nervous.

  • Decanted for one hour. A quite ordinary nose showing some ripe red and dark fruit. Medium to full bodied on the palate, firm and good tannic grip, delivering nice ripe, a bit tart red and dark fruit with a pleasant note of eucalyptus and a decent dusty finish to it. Improved with airtime and food. Perfectly discreet oak influence after spending 12 months in old barrels. A great quaffer.
