Mixed feelings. Needs forward flavored food. No two sips the same. Kinda brings together what I find difficult about some Paso wines. Great nose. Good tongue hit but there's an emptiness in the mid-palette and then this slightly vegetal finish that just doesn't bring it all home for me. But good with a well seasoned red pasta.

Very good California Grenache. Some spice, nicely balanced and smooth finish that lingers for a moment. Some fruit. Enjoyable. Would be better QPR if we bought it on sale. Will buy again.

Medium-bodied and fresh, clean flavors of strawberry/raspberry with cocoa powder on the finish.
