Mid Gold. Plenty of richness and concentration from the outset. A bit too much barley sugar for me and acidity only just enough for balance. Pretty good if a little clumsy.

One of my last two bottles - was worried that this was reaching the end of its drinking window, but really enjoyed this - there's the familiar tropical fruit / pineapple (?) taste + apricots. Taste is not complex or particularly multi-layered relative to the Rieussec 2004 tasted alongside it, but the lighter style and long taste make this a real pleasure

(Château Doisy-Védrines) Bright medium yellow color; nice rounded apricot nose with a kumquat note; tasty, fleshy apricot and orange honey palate with good acidity; long finish (80% Semillon, 17% Sauvignon Blanc, 3% Muscadelle)

Color has darkened to a an shade of amber. A muted noise but stone fruits and caramel came through. Not very sweet and a bit light on the finish.

Maybe starting to be a little old. Not much sugar left. Not very fruity. Sent of petroleum. Still good though.
