This gorgeous nose features crushed Opal apple, lemon curd, candied almond, papaya, and peach. Nearly full bodied, this slightly sweet wine has thick, almost syrupy acid that frames a seriously substantial mouthfeel. The flavor profile includes saturated peach, sweet pineapple, Red Delicious apple, orange custard, and lime zest. An seriously delicious and seriously layered wine that has another yea roe two of peak drinking. This has demonstrably improved over the last four years.
Yellow gold fading to straw; rim variation consistent with age. Legs medium minus. Aromas are white fruit forward: lime, apple, peach, pear, honeysuckle. Hints of apricot and ginger. Defined minerals: granite, stone, wet stone. On the palate, minerals intensify, honey joins the honeysuckle. Light to medium body, smooth yet has satin-like texture. Medium finish to mid-palate, but well-defined. Medium plus acidity. Tasted over 3 days with minimal fading. Impression: varietally correct, balanced, definite complexity. At $37 with tax & shipping, QPR well below average. A splurge, but at least we enjoyed a very good wine for the money. Drink now or in 2021.

American Rieslings: New tennis ball smell on the nose, but also lots of honeysuckle, summer peaches, drizzled with lime. Bright and floral palate with mountain stream freshness and minerality. Oranges, limeade, honey, graham cracker. The complexity is absurd, but the balance is fantastic. Long, lingering, mineral-encrusted finish. Very impressive.

Straw lemon yellow with a citrus nose. Off dry with tart lemon and light rs to balance the acid, medium body, just a tad of slatey mineral.
