Rich gold in colour, slight acridity. Dried apricots, good mouth feel. Less a dessert wine, reminded me of a medium sherry. Very drinkable though, especially accompanying an apricot tart.

No notes. Light amber color in the glass, clear hue throughout. Nose and palate of apricots and honey. Medium acidity, light to medium body. Drink or hold.

Excellent demonstration of Tokaj as a strong contender to Sauternes as an elegant, yet powerful dessert wine. Moderately sweet, well balanced. Honey and Apricots dominate the front with hints of peaches, while the long finish dances with fig, almond, and smaller hints of apricot. Good stuff, and a heck of a deal at $25 for a 500ml bottle.

Fantastic dessert wine. Smokes any Sauternes in the same price range. Beautiful balance, not overly sweet, apricots, almonds, some zing on the finish which stays with you. Great on its own or with dessert.

Nose honey, walnut, maple, unripe peach, very fragrant. Lovely orange gold color. Taste medium mouth, good acid balance, citrus, honey, walnut, and stonefruit. Nice medium finish. A very interesting alternative to sauterne or other traditional desert wine, with character and style. Very well balanced. Great with chocolate cake. A-
