Tasty wine. Again, best with our roast herbal chicken (gets a lovely perfume) and pretty good with the chicken sausage with asiago. Not as good without the food.

Reddish-purple in color. Medium bodied and medium finish. Great nose of cherry, smoke, and spices. Cherries and terrior on the palate. Has a delicious factor. Went very nice with lamb chops.

Similar to last time, deep red fruit notes. Enjoyable although not that complex. Best with our roast herbal chicken, where it picked up a lovely perfume, we bought these for $20 and $16.88 / bottle: great QPR. Drink now although it might get better with some age

A tasty wine. Deep red and dark fruit notes. This is from the Kastania Vineyard and it is similar to the wine Landmark makes from that same vineyard, I thought. Best with the grilled chicken (and not as good with the grilled Atlantic salmon). We had this alongside the Cornerstone Pinot Noir Willamette Valley 2013 and this was the heavier wine. This could age a little as well. With Donna T in Princeton. (0 views)

Vibrant garnet in color, this wine reveals dark red fruits of black cherry, plum as well as tobacco on the nose. The mouth feel is more fuller bodied than expected and brings added elements of cherry compote, nutmeg and smoke. The finish is moderately long, framing the dark red fruits and spices including nutmeg.
Purchased for $30US, this was an enjoyable offering that paired well with my dinner entree of baked haddock tonight. The 14.4% abv was held in check and not noticeable.
