My final of 6 bottles, this 1er Cru Chablis is still showing quite nicely even at 10 yrs of age. Lemon curd, green apple and herbal basil leaf, with some slate and minerals on the longish finish. Nicely buttressed acidity, just getting slightly rounded. Drink through 2025+.

Oh wow. This retains every bit of quality and complexity I’ve enjoyed over the years. Briny, oyster shells, lemon, mineral, seawater. Palate a bit richer, with intense acid and big mineral texture. Long finish. This is truly great wine.

Burg lunch at SSG. Drank in Gabriel Standart. Tasted semi-blind. Appearance is clear, pale intensity, lemon colour. Legs. Nose is clean, medium+ intensity, with aromas of citrus lemon-lime blast, stony minerality with a touch of Chablisienne brine, white flowers with more air. Developing. On the palate, dry, mouth-watering high acidity, medium alcohol (13%), medium body. Medium+ flavour intensity, with flavours of wet stones minerality, brine saline, citrus lemon-lime, green apple, white chalk. Long finish fading a bit to medium+ with more air. Interesting comparison with the Mont de Mileau same vintage. More expressive on pop and pour. Drink up sooner though. But certainly still fresh and no problem for next few years.

Opened for the girls during dry week but took a sip to judge. Nice and tart as the first bottle was with a little less depth. This one was pears for me and green apples for aks. Looking forward to my next bottle. With it's acidity it should pair amazingly with seafood...think oysters or scallops.

Better than last bottle tasted 2 years ago. Really nice mineral tension and acidity as well as good supporting fruit flavours. Great match with scallops.
