  Acker 200; 2/7/2020-2/8/2020 (The Pool & Cipriani): Not on the same page as previous note at all. This was my WOTN for the auction portion of the 200 year celebration. This was just awesome. Starts off with a touch of funk right at the cork pull, but that blows off quickly. Then it reminds me of red velvet in a glass (both that plushy kindof nature and maybe even the cake variety). Very fresh for the age and drinking very well even if the label was a touch beaten up.

  Perhaps this is worth drinking if it's your birth year. But the wine is very light, metallic and short, though there is some bright red berries found in the finish. Drinkable, but not much else to say here.

  LATOUR vs. MARGAUX (WINETIP): Naso elettrizzante, ti conquista. Più fresco e vegetale del 59, quasi fumé.
  Il sorso è più scarno, e sottile del 59, ma senza perdere in eleganza e guadagnando in bevibilità.
  Il lieve corpo giocato su sottiliezze erbacee lo rende particolare e molto aristocrativo.
  Piaciuto moltissimo
