  Austère in a good way. Great nose. Surprising. Thought it would be more subdued but still packs a punch in that first sip. Tannins all melted through. Nice balance.

  First botlle of a case of 12. What a surprise, not a grand vintage this 1992, but the nose is lovely, barnyardy, plums and dates with a fine touch of cedarwood, elegant and refined. The taste is smooth, too smooth, a bit muted, but again lovely dades and prunes and some tobacco even, the fine Cuban that is. The finish is long and very satsifying. I LOVE IT !

  My mistake that I never want to buy this 1992. I drank a lot of 1980, 1981, 1987 and those were very good but 1992 seems a bit better. (means more happy with this)

  Beautiful banyard reminds me of Cheval Blanc, balance is set to be good, easy delicious with a nice finished...That's all.
  
  What do we want more for the weak weak vintage ?
