Mature with tile color, especially in the edge. No oxidation or maderization but has lost some flavor depth and interest. Just a nice softer wine now but there is still some tannins. It had more earthiness and spices but it has lost a lot of that. Perhaps best a few years ago but still serves well for a week night dinner.

This was the third of four bought at release. The wine is very clear and decanted off its sediment easily. The color is quite bricky. The nose is quite recessed but still classic mature PN. The color is light as the mouth feel. The flavor is major mocha and tea. Fruit recessed but plenty enough going on at age 26. A pretty and perfumed sort of a mature Burgundy. Not reason to wait now.
