Loved this wine which screams of summer. Smoke, lemon curd, grapefruit, lemon essence. Pretty complex mouthfeel with nice acidity, citrusy fruits, tart elderberries, nice finish. Nice balance and depth.

taste: well balanced medium feel with bits of smokey tones, grapefruits, vanilla creams and a touch of gooseberries. Excellent medium acidity rounds this out and while its noticeable, its not too much either
overall: a nice and evolved sauvignon blanc. Has a good class to it with a great feel and excellent aromatics. Everything is well balanced with the class that one would expect from a gaja wine

This is one gorgeous wine, but not at this price. But all at the tasting loved it. It seems like a cross between a NZ Sav Blanc and a highly oaked Cal chard....very interesting flavor profile.

A surprising sauvignon Blanc ! The best I have ever had. Very complex nose: pears, sauternes... Needs time to open up, should be decanted, will last for 5/10 years.

Thought this hidden bottle might be past its prime. Wrong, it was amazing.

Some nebbiolo for LeatherPalate's b-day (Terragusto, Chicago IL): nose: rather smokey at first with tones of grapefruits, gooseberries, various citrus tones and bits of vanilla creams. Good depth with a touch of class to it as well
