  • A lovely wine, drunk over two nights.

The bouquet evolved over the two days. To begin with, straightforward gentle buttery oak, but by day two the nose was revealing almond, lemon and floral notes.

Arriving full bodied, on the palate, it was just about rich, but still fresh and energetic. The wine then smoothed out into very pure, focused, lemon acidity, that lingered long on the tongue. Mouthwatering, moreish, and delicious.

For my money, this is good value, fresh, lively young village white burgundy. Not overly complex, but plenty of interest and really enjoyable.

  • Tropical fruit nose. Medium bodied, rounded, moderate malo aromas and flavors. Might pass for a modest village Puligny.
