Blind tasting varietals (Leo's place, Haberfield): Served blind. Reductive, ripe red berries, a little spice, slight earth and mushroom. Juicy medium plus intensity acidity, soft tannic burr, alcohol heat, a little bitter on the finish, tired red fruit. I guessed 10 year old martinborough pinot noir because of the alcohol

Pinot Palooza Singapore 2018 (Theatreworks, Mohd Sultan Road): pale garnet; pronounced, perfumed nose, fair acidity, good structure, velvety, intense, long, with raspberry, strawberry, candied, nutmeg, grass, clay, morning dew; great!

browning rim. Saucy. Softer cherry, intense cherry spice, flash of autumns. Sucked back in by acid. Nice balance
