I have what I consider is a reasonable knowledge of wine for an amateur but here was a wine I really did not know what to expect of. Well it was a bit sweeter than I expected but had the sort of oily spiciness that Alsace Gewurz has had from previous rare tastings.Interesting although not really my cup of tea but I appreciate that it is a very good wine - I would have expected a SGN wine to taste like this but as I say I am not an expert with this sort of wine
