A tremendous value by USA standards at 25 EUR, has a quintessential wet concrete and thyme burg nose with citrus, white balsamic, green apple, balsa wood notes on the palate. 90-91.

Tasting @ Le Cave de L'Ange Gardien, Beaune, France: Medium yellow color. Medium body. Nose of underbrush, citrus. On the palate earthy, honey flavors, citrus, forest floor. Long finish. 13.0% alcohol. 29 euros.

Seems to be a little oxidized or maybe just at a funky stage. I have 1 more bottle. I’ll wait a year of so and give it another try.

Already quite good. But I think it will be even better in 5+ years.
