Vincent Fritzche gets it. He may talk about non-interventionist policies yada yada yada and letting the grapes do the talking etc, but not everyone is making wines that taste this good.

Popped and poured. Pleasant aroma of garden herbs, brush, cherry. Clean flavors of cherry, earth up front, some sappiness mid palate, plum notes in the finish. Beautiful flavors, strong backbone, some complexity. I'd say this is just starting to hit its stride. Excellent wine, good QPR.

Great Pinot nose here - like a laser beam of tart, crunchy red fruits, with just a hint of earthiness.
Decent acidity and good persistence, but the palate doesn't quite follow through on the promise of the nose. I love the nose here, and the palate is nice, but just not at that level.

Very nice, balanced, red fruit, no coca cola. Spiciness with moderate acidity. Excellent pinot that should get better press. This was a Berserkerday purchase after having dinner with Vincent at The Count's apartment a few years ago.

Super funky when opened, but this isn't the first time I've seen it in a Vincent bottling. Opened up over 2 days. Still a bit bigger than I prefer but that's the 14 vintage in Oregon.
